Sync your Google Calendar with WhatsApp messages using a Chrome extension - or not
By creating a WA Reminders account and having an active subscription, you can sync Google Calendar events with WhatsApp. This feature works great for sending WhatsApp appointment reminder messages to your clients or to yourself.
The benefits of using WA Reminders are that it is a simple tool to use and integrates with your current workflow if you are already using Google Calendar.
How to sync Google Calendar with WhatsApp
- Create a WA Reminders account using Google Signup.
- Subscribe to a paid plan.
- Link your WhatsApp account to WA Reminders. WA Reminders will generate a QR code that you can scan with your mobile phone.
- Go to the Google Calendar settings page and Enable Google Calendar sync.

How to Sync your first Google Calendar event
- Go to your Google Calendar.

Correct phone number formatting
Remember to include the country code with the + sign first. The phone number can only be surrounded with empty spaces or newlines.

Appointment with Jane +433364090478
+433364090478 Jane's appointment
Appointment +433364090478 for Jane
Remember you have an appointment with this clinic.
Your name: Jane Smith
Your phone number: +433364090478
Example of bad phone number formatting for the Google Calendar event title or description:
433364090478 Jane's appointment
+433364090478. Jane's appointment
+433364090478Jane's appointment
Remember you have an appointment with this clinic.
Your name: Jane Smith
Your phone number: +433364090478,
